United Voices Movement

We have started a movement to convey the message that ‘dialogue to know each other’ is important to overcome division through dialogue, learn from each other, and avoid the worst-case scenario of conflict, in a world that advocates ‘overcoming division through dialogue, and helping and learning from each other’, and to break through the atmosphere of division that covers the world.

 

 

Our Stance

We are not backed by any specific religion or political group, but are a group that originated from discussions among friends about various issues and what kind of society should be. We each have our own professions and are not professionals or specialists in ‘peace activism’.

The reason we feel it is necessary for us to take action against division is that we believe this issue has the highest priority at this moment, and if we don’t act now, it will be too late. We do not wish to continue this activity for a long period of time.

Voice from our supporter

We don’t think we can change the world all at once. We won’t try to change the intentions and actions of those at war, or the countries imposing sanctions, by force. Rather, what we can do, and what we are trying to do, is to add something to the world in our own way. We aim to serve as a catalyst by painting our thoughts on peace on the canvas of the earth. By joining hands and standing in solidarity, we hope each of us can contribute small ripples that will eventually create large waves.
